DEGRADABLE PLASTICS
Normally, plastics take centuries to decompose in a landfill — or worse, our water supply. But we’re stopping that at the source. Through degradable plastics, we create containers that decompose within just a few years.

The persistence of plastic in the environment is a centuries-old challenge. By augmenting CuBEware with an advanced organic material, we ensure biodegradable containers for grocery stores, foodservice, and meal prep that breaks down in just a few years.
Degradable plastics are FDA-approved organic ingredients we add to CuBEware during the manufacturing process.
Degradable plastics attract bacteria in landfill, soil, and marine environments. They digest the plastic, leaving behind only biogas and biomass.
Degradable plastics reduce the time it takes to decompose to around 2.5 years.* Compare that with the staggering 500–1000 years for normal plastic.
Degradable plastics have absolutely no effect on the strength, flexibility, shelf-stability, or performance of CuBEware containers.
